check localhost online compatibility on older browsers

Question

I am implementing a web application that uses HTML5 features.

Still on localhost. Is there any online service with which I can somehow test my local site?

I mean, is there an online service that mimics mobile browsers, or versions of older web browsers?

So I do not need to download / install old browsers?

You can use the Lunascape browser because it gives you the ability to run your site (local and live) on three different rendering mechanisms in the same browser. And we know that almost all browsers use one of these three rendering mechanisms.

Install to test IE in Firefox, and then launch your local site and click the "Check IE Icon" button at the top right of Firefox and select which version of IE you want.

I had the same question today and a colleague told me about BrowserStack . Create a free account online and then install the Chrome extension. A fairly simple setup → Be sure to click Yes when they ask if you want to conduct local testing, and it will help you from the very beginning.

Testing options are very detailed: I use it to test between Chrome style on Mac and Chrome on Windows, and it works great for testing my version of localhost dev.
