How to convert a PHP web page to PDF?

I have a PHP file that generates a report from a database, and I want this page to be converted to a PDF file, so it can be saved and printed. How to convert a web page to PDF? Is there a tool or PHP script available?

Yes.

Use the TCPDF plugin.

Here is an example and try this after setting up the above code.

<?php require_once('tcpdf_include.php'); $pdf = new TCPDF(PDF_PAGE_ORIENTATION, PDF_UNIT, PDF_PAGE_FORMAT, true, 'UTF-8', false); $pdf->SetDefaultMonospacedFont(PDF_FONT_MONOSPACED); $pdf->SetAutoPageBreak(TRUE, PDF_MARGIN_BOTTOM); if (@file_exists(dirname(__FILE__).'/lang/eng.php')) { require_once(dirname(__FILE__).'/lang/eng.php'); $pdf->setLanguageArray($l); } $pdf->SetFont('helvetica', '', 9); $pdf->AddPage(); $html = '<h1>Example of HTML text flow</h1>Sed ut perspiciatis unde omnis iste natus error sit voluptatem accusantium doloremque laudantium, totam rem aperiam, eaque ipsa quae ab illo inventore veritatis et quasi architecto beatae vitae dicta sunt explicabo. I used quite often:

Good work has been done so far, there are a few mistakes, but it works very well.

I had more problems with TCPDF since it seems that it does not support converting from HTML to PDF, which is good.

If you want to create a PDF client part (using the button in the html report), you can use jsPDF ( http://parall.ax/products/jspdf )

DomPDF looks the way you want.

dompdf is an HTML to PDF converter. Essentially, dompdf is a (mostly) CSS-compatible HTML layout and rendering engine written in PHP. This is a style driven visualizer: it will load and read external style sheets, inline style tags, and style attributes for individual HTML elements. It also supports most HTML presentation attributes.
