How to get inline results in a worksheet in Eclipse / Scala -IDE on Ubuntu 12.04?

I have Scala -IDE installed on my Mac and on my computer with Ubuntu 12.04. There I created a project with a package and there a worksheet. On my mac, the worksheet shows the results of each line in one line on the right. For instance:

package mypackage object myworksheet { println("Hello World!") > Hello World! } 

In Ubuntu, however, I do not see the result on the right. I tried to make changes to the worksheet and save it, but that doesn't make any difference.

Does anyone know how I can get these inline results on my Ubuntu machine?

I had the same problem by adding -Dfile.encoding = UTF8 to eclipse.ini fixed the problem.

Having a space in the name of the project was a problem for me. Creating a new project without permission space.
