127.0.0.1 will not work in IE 11

I upgraded to Windows 8.1 pro and 127.0.0.1, and my local IP address will not be resolved for the IIS 8.5 start page, but localhost will be.

But it all works in Firefox and Chrome.

I have no idea how to fix this, it does not show any errors except this:

This page is not displayed.

  • Verify that the web address 127.0.0.1 is correct.
  • Find a page with your search engine.
  • Refresh the page in minutes.

Can someone help me figure this out?

It doesnโ€™t matter that I work.

I realized that I had to disable the new IE 11 feature "Enable Advanced Protection", Now it works fine [/ p>

Disable "Enable Advanced Protected Mode" on the extended tag; Internet Options Dialog Box.

To add a site as a trusted site in IE, follow these steps:

  • In Internet Explorer, click Tools , click Internet Options , and then go to the Security tab.

  • In the Select Web Content box, specify your current security settings, click Trusted Sites , and then click Sites .

  • Disable the Require Server Verification option to add HTTP sites.

  • Add http://127.0.0.1 , http://<your IP> , therefore, you can access the local server at these addresses.
