Public Folder Options for vmware on ESXi Server

I am using an ESXi server and running virtual machines using the vSphere client. I used the public folder options in VMware, but now I can not find this option in these virtual machines. How to create a shared folder or how can I easily transfer files between VMware virtual machines? Thanks.

If you only need to transfer files from the host to the guest, the easiest solution is to create an ISO image and attach it to a virtual CD / DVD drive. For example, on Linux, the following command creates an ISO image of foo.iso from the bar directory, preserving long file names ( -J ).

 genisoimage -o foo.iso -J bar

If you need something more complex, ESXi does not have such a built-in method, it is best to configure a virtual machine for such things using the S (S) FTP, SMB or NFS service.
