How to break a long word in Span? (using Twitter Bootstrap)

I use Twitter upload on my website and I have a range that can contain a long word and I need to break it. I am using this css but not working? what problem?

You need to add this to your CSS for this range.

 span { -ms-word-break: break-all; word-break: break-all; /* Non standard for webkit */ word-break: break-word; -webkit-hyphens: auto; -moz-hyphens: auto; hyphens: auto; }
