I recently saw some information about GME Portable. It seems that this tool allows not only access to the GME API, but also normal access to the Maps and Earth APIs offline?
I recently developed the first demo for an academic software project with the Google Maps API. It seems to be working fine, but I was recently informed that it should be used offline. So my goal is to turn this app into something that can always be offline, but still has the elegance of Google maps.
Is it possible that with GME Portable (which I cannot find for download ...) or the regular Google Maps API for developing an application that does not need a Google HTTP request for the API every time it loads?
