Unfortunately, as soon as you delete the pending files from the repository (they are no longer tied to the list of changes), they are no longer stored in any place where they can be found.
I just figured it out today in the depot, on which I worked with a pending file, and performed operations out of order, deleting what I wanted to save. In my case, I have a continuous backup system and I was able to restore it.
Typically, we move on to task flows because of such things. One of the benefits of the new βtask streamsβ is that they provide short-lived aspects of shelving and fast forking without eroding the entire storage. Mostly similar to easy branching in git.
