Is MS Visual Studio 2012 Update 2 compiling C ++ 11 string literals?

When CTP Update 1 came out in November 2012, several blogs, as well as videos on Channel 9, showed raw literals as an added C ++ 11 feature.

I upgraded VS2012 to Update2 (April 2013), and the version now shows 17.00.60315.1, but I get compilation errors:

error C2065

Was the source string support removed after CTP, or did I not notice anything obvious?

The November CTP was not for Update 1, it was for "some uncertain future update."

Now update 2 has been released, which does not contain anything related to C ++ 11.

The November CTP may eventually be released as Update 3.

Or it could be update 4 or, possibly, update 14. Microsoft is clearly in no hurry. But outside of CTP, these C ++ 11 features are not yet supported by MSVC in Update 2 or earlier.

No, it is not. Only Visual Studio 2013 supports string string literals.
