How to transfer image files through WCF?

Question

I am trying to transfer an image file from a database to a self-service portal. But every time I try to get a file of 80 KB in size, the received file is damaged, and I can not open this file. The maximum file size that I can try to extract is up to 3 MB. I use file transfer in stream mode. Has anyone ever come across and solved this problem, please help here.
