Debugging native iOS apps on a Mac in the cloud via a local USB port

I would like to prototype some ideas for iOS apps, but I don't have a Mac machine. (also my AMD machine, which makes vm tuning a problem, I couldn't solve)

So, my only option (besides getting a Mac) is to rent a Mac machine in the cloud (macincloud is what I'm heading for).

I would like to debug the application (native, not web) running on the iPad, I connected to the local Win7 machine.

Is there a way to enable / share my USB to a remote Mac so that Xcode can detect my device and enable debugging of the application?

To do this, you need a tool to share your USB over the Internet. Perhaps you could try http://www.eltima.com/products/usb-over-network-mac/ or http://www.net-usb.com

But you probably need administrator rights that you won't get with macincloud. Perhaps you can try another provider, for example http://xcodeclub.com

You can also ask the FAQ for macincloud:

How can I easily test my applications on my own iOS equipment using the MacinCloud service?

Although the remote Mac server does not know about your iOS devices connected to your local computer, there is a workaround:

We strongly encourage developers to use the free service provided by TestFlightApp.com, which allows you to easily provide your iOS device for developing and distributing your application on iOS devices for testing.

For more information, visit TestFlightApp.com. You will need to register for a free developer account on your website in order to use this service.

For those who come here from Google, this is now possible with the help of several different solutions described on the macincloud website:

For proper local debugging of the device, it is recommended to use a USB Gate.
