Avd for Samsung Galaxy S4 not working

I created avd compatible with Samsung Galaxy S4. here are the details for this:

1080 X 1920 API 14, Android 4.2

But when I try to run this emulator. It only displays a blank screen, it doesn't seem to work at all.

Am I missing something?

Can anyone share their experience with the Galaxy S4.

The problem is " Use the host GPU " - it should be checked . I had the same problem: blank screen and AVD will not work. I edited the AVD settings and checked " Use Host GPU " - it works.

You can install sony device profiles from the sdk manager and create a new avd using the senie xperia z device, since the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Sony Xperia Z have the same configuration, so your application will look the same on both devices.
