Sync Framework: you can sync via http

Question

We plan to use Sync Services for ADO.NET to synchronize stores with the headphone, and it was proposed to synchronize it using a WCF proxy server .

Is synchronization performed through WCF proxy so that I can synchronize via http ? If not, is it possible to use synchronization services to synchronize via http.

(I don’t want to update our firewall every time we get a new store that needs to sync with the headphone - that’s why I want to sync via http).

Yes, WCF imports both SOAP and REST web services, which can be accessed via http or http / s.
