The Eclipse folder is transparent / inaccessible. What does it mean?

My jni folder in Eclipse looks like this:

enter image description here

It is gray in color and has a diagonal line. What does it mean? I can still edit my own C ++ code in this folder and see the changes when testing the application.

This means that the directory is filtered from source locations. It seems you can use this to exclude files that are not a source from the source folder, although I never used it.

I got rid of this annoyance in the Eclipse Indigo CDT:

(Project) Properties → C / C ++ General → Outlines and Symbols → Location Location tab → Edit Filter ... → Remove
