Description of the special store App Store

Question

Is it impossible to use special characters such as stars in the description of the app store?

I get this error .: Description should not contain markup language (e.g. HTML tags). The description must not contain the following characters: ★

Some Unicode characters are still allowed. The following characters have been tested and continue to work: • ◆ √ ▸

As for right now (April 26, 2013), they are working fine, but Apple can change the conditions at any time.
