I read the above set of classes as byte streams using apache commonsIO.

Then using the asm library using them.

Finally, they are converted to class files.

It is at this stage of the toolkit that I get this error. Someone can explain the reason and possible solution.

This error occurs because ASM creates stack frame frames, and for some bytecodes, the stack map frames must contain a common superclass of the two classes. By default, ASM implements this by loading classes through Class.forName , and then implements the correct algorithm using reflection. Presumably, the ASM library cannot load your Deposit class from its class loader.

To avoid the error, you need to either use SKIP_FRAMES (note: version 51.0 of the class file used by Java 7 requires frame frames, so this is not an option if you generate Java 7 bytecode), or you need to subclass ClassWriter and override getCommonSuperClass. Depending on what your code is doing, you may be able to hard code your answers using string mappings, or you may be able to implement an ASM implementation and rewrite it to use the ClassLoader pointer that you specified.
