Vim crashes with AutoComplPop plugin

I use vim to edit ruby ​​files, but it crashes when I type ".".
I found this to be caused by the AutoComplPop plugin. What should I do?

I found a way to prevent vim from crashing with autocomplpop and filetype = ruby.

put the following line in .vimrc

let g:acp_behaviorRubyOmniMethodLength = -1

this will cause the autocomplpop trigger to enter "." (Period)

This is not a fix. (I'm not a vim plugin programmer)

If you are interested, you can delve into the source code of the plugin and try to find the minimum fragment that shows the crash. If this crash still occurs in the last Vim development snapshot, it should be reported to the vim_dev mailing list. But usually the author of the plugin is best (and motivated) to do this for you.
