I constantly improve my software and upload it to the server. Since I have clients using my online software all the time, if the PHP file is partially downloaded (say, it takes 3 seconds to download), when the client clicks on the link (say, at 1 second), they get an error because the file is still loading ...
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /inc/functions.php on line 475
Like me in Australia, our internet ... well ... "not very fast" is a good way to put it.
Are there any methods used when downloading files so that it does not cause errors for clients using the software?
The only thing I can say is to upload files to say a different directory, and then run a PHP script that copies the files through super fast ... But are there any better solutions?
FINAL CODE
Thanks to Greg below, I was able to find a better way to do something. Thought I'd share my latest code. It's a little rude, but it does the trick ... Hope this helps someone
