How to calculate tides for a specific date and location using Delphi

Just saw this question in Stack. How to calculate sunrise and sunset times for the current date with Delphi

Is there any way to calculate tides? for date and location.

Not. Sunrise and sunset are based on the simple fact that the earth is an (almost) sphere illuminated by the sun.

Tides are also based on the geographic properties of the earth.

For example, the island of Great Britten affects the tides along the Dutch and Belgian coasts, because water takes time to flow along Calais street.

This is why the local government publishes tide tables for most regions of the world.
