Is python supported on Giraph, and if so, is it supported like python on Hadoop, or does it lead to significantly worse performance than using raw Java?
Giraph now supports python scripts through jython in the trunk version.
This is a related issue: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GIRAPH-683
Streaming to the scripting language is not yet supported, but will certainly be a good addition. Patches are welcome.
