I can not compile in Visual Studio 2010

I always have so many problems compiling programs in Visual Studio 2010. I apologize for my greenness. I get LNK errors and am not sure if this is causing them. I hope someone can discover something from the build log. Probably something stupid ...

Any help would be greatly appreciated. The code has been compiled before.

The above errors say that the linker cannot find the characters included in the Ws2_32 library, which contains network-related functions.

To add this library to the linker options:

  • Open the Project Page Properties dialog box. For more information, see Setting Visual C ++ Project Properties.
  • Click the Linker folder.
  • Go to the input properties page.
  • Change the Additional Dependencies property and add Ws2_32.lib
