Aptana Studio 3 What is a Workspace

Can someone explain to me that Workspace is in Aptana and how to use them? My main problem is that I don’t even understand the concept of a workspace, and I can’t find the documentation anywhere (and I looked quite a lot) that explains this.

Sorry if that sounds like a dumb question, but I want to try using an IDE rather than Notepad ++ to see if I like it, and I am really fixated on the concept of a workspace.

In the workspace, you add your projects. Aptana is built on eclipse, so you can read about the workspace in eclipse. http://archive.darronschall.com/weblog/2006/01/getting-friendly-with-eclipse-workspaces.html

A workspace is an area in which you load all current active projects. This makes it easy for you to access them in one place, and not always, to go to your project directory. For example, you might have a zend project in your zend framework directory, but another HTML project that is in your shared directory. These two projects will be located inside your workspace, so one click in them will lead the entire project to the sidebar.
