The problems that I encountered during international sales are really two parts.

Firstly, I won’t dive too deeply, since it is more connected with the processing of business trading and credit cards, but commercial services and payment gateways have not yet deployed a system that is rooted in fraud. Unfortunately, provided that the client abroad uses a fraudulent credit card, he will almost certainly pass through the gateway and trading services as a good sale, and then deposit it in the bank account of the retailer, only to be identified as suspicious weeks later. Naturally, banks reach and extract fraudulent funds and leave the retailer holding the bag.

On the other hand, this is logistics, or rather, a competitive or non-competitive price leading to sales.

Amazon.com has been a boat across the market, and many will argue about the enormous benefits that it brought with it in the competition. Amazon was God for many particularly small businesses, which, without the marketing advantage of Amazon, would have been little more than the scribbles on the back of the napkin in the viewing hole. They are great for reaching the domestic consumer, and their impact on the wider international space is growing rapidly.

But for those of us who are trying to sell through our own website, abandoning the huge commissions paid to the hippo, it may be a little more difficult to handle international shipping.

First of all, rates. Getting bets that compete is tough. Have you seen retail prices from Fedex, DHL or TNT? They are insanely expensive and unrealistic for the seller. I agreed on rates with UPS, TNT and DHL, but the results were not very good. Not enough volume for real discounts. This is when competing with Amazon makes you feel really very small.
