Blank page after tablix (Reporting Services 2008)

I created a report containing tablix. I noticed that when tablix contains a certain number of rows, a blank page with only the header and footer of my report is added after the page with an empty table.

This happens both in design and in print mode, even if tablix has only about 10 rows, and there is a lot of space to the end of the message body (height 27 cm).

I have not added any kind of page break. Perhaps someone had this problem?

  • set the ConsumeContainerWhiteSpace property to tablix for true. If this does not work.
  • check that (body height + header height + footer height) = report page height (body width = header width = footer width = report page width)

It seems like a good idea to set the width of the body slightly less than the width of the page - (left + right margin).

In my last report, the page width was 21 cm with left and right edges = 0.5 cm. With a body width of 20 cm and ConsumeContainerWhiteSpace = true, I still got a second page in the print layout, but not with a body width of 19.9 cm.
