Why are user level threads in Java called green?

Possible duplicate:
Green Threads vs. Non Green Threads

Why are Java threads implemented at the user level in a JVM called "green threads"? This is similar to environmentalism, but does that mean they are less wasteful than OS streams, or something else?

EDIT: Some links to where this term is used:

About green streams

This is just the name of the project (library) that used this approach many years before

Green has many possible meanings if it uses a generally accepted meaning. It made sense to me to call it "green" to mean

Youthful energetic: in the green age of 18 years.

Immature or mature; young: green tomatoes.

Completely new; fresh.

Lack of complexity or worldly experience; naive.

A friend provided me with a historical answer: "green" apparently comes from the "Green Team" , the original code name for the Java project.
