Is there a way to install the Android SDK Web Browser in the widows and configure it to run directly in Windows?

So we don’t need to depend on the emulator / device to check how your web page works - which would be simpler and faster

You can emulate some functions of the Android browser in Google Chrome. Type Ctrl-Shift-I to open the Chrome developer’s tools, click “Settings” - the gear icon in the lower right corner, click “Override” on the left, then check the user agent and select Android 4.0.2 below, then check the “Device metrics” box and Touch event emulation. Alternatively, you can install Windroy , the full Android port for Windows.

Now in Chrome (during version 53), the device mode allows you to bring you closer to the actual behavior of the device (but not completely emulate it). To run it:

  • type Ctrl-Shift-I to open the Chrome developer tools,
  • then enter Ctrl-Shift-M to switch in device mode,
  • a toolbar appears on the top of the page with a drop-down menu from which you can emulate various mobile browsers (the default option is the "Responsive" menu).

This list of available devices can be supplemented in the settings Developer Tools> Devices.

The best way I've found so far is to connect your mobile device using the Chrome Remote Devices feature
