Place 2 switches next to each other (on the same "line") in a vertical layout

I have my controls in a vertical LinearLayout. All my controls are below each other.

What I want to do is put the radio group (with two switches) on the same line '

How can i do this?

I tried wrapping it in a horizontal LinearLayout, but that didn't work

Use the android:orientation="horizontal" attribute for the RadioGroup.
