Does anyone know the status and future of the jQueryTools library? Is the project abandoned?

We use the JQueryTools library (http://flowplayer.org/tools/index.html), but have not seen any success in the last 12 months or so in terms of new development or bug fixes. There is no place on the website where I can find contact information to post a question or two, I could not post anything on the forum, and the blog was also closed.

This certainly looks like an abandoned project, but wanted to see if anyone has a better idea than me. I really like this library and what it provides, so it will be very sad to see it.

I wish all of us - consumers of open source software - sometimes realize that those developers who produce great libraries save us considerable time and energy, also have financial needs! There are thousands of JQueryTools users, and some of them even pay their clients $ 100 or more per hour for their time, but we don’t make at least one contribution of $ 50 or $ 100 to the project, which provides us with valuable libraries, saving time and money! Hopefully in 2012 we will all change our approach to open source software.

Thanks.

A question about the future can be asked at: http://flowplayer.org/tools/forum/20/66697 . This thread should give you some explanation why the activity was low.

FlowPlayer (another product) is becoming more popular every day. I do not think the project will be abandoned. As for the tools ... I don't know. Perhaps you (or your company) could contribute to the project.
