Can I send a picture message using the iPhone SDK?

Can I send an MMS message with an image using the iPhone SDK? After viewing the MFMessageComposeViewController this is not possible.

Yes, it is true, there is still no API for sending mms to iphone. But the only option is to attach the image in the mail composer

I think iphone does not have a public API for sending MMS. The only way to achieve this is to use the MMS providers gateway directly, but this will not work worldwide.

An alternative way is to open the SMS interface and let the user select an image / video as an attachment. Then SMS is automatically converted to MMS.
