Changing the background of a hover window during debugging on Eclipse

Question

I change thousands of different settings on Eclipse, and I still can’t change the background of the guidance window during debugging in Eclipse. Here is a photo of a black background, I want to change the color: http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/7126/blackbackgrounds.png Thanks in advance.

In Fedora 18, using KDE as your default desktop, you use oxygen gtk for GTK applications. You can also change the setting for this color in the following file:

/usr/share/themes/oxygen-gtk/gtk-2.0/kdeglobals

[Color: tooltip] BackgroundNormal =

Windows-> Options.

Java-> Editor-> Appearance Color Options-> Hover Source Background. I have the "System Defaults" option checked, and it works great for me.

For Fedora18 KDE, go to System Preferences → Appearance → Color

Select the Colors tab, and edit the Background Hint entry.

If you are using gnome, change the background color of the system-wide tooltip:

• System> Preferences> Appearance
• Themes> Customize ...
• Colors> Tips
