Google Plus (+1) API - verified names?

Some profiles are checked in Google Plus. (Just like twitter) But unlike twitter, I couldn't find a way to get a confirmed tip. I looked at the API but could not find it. ( https://developers.google.com/+/api/ )

Has anyone tried to find / hang with verified names?

Verification status is not accessible through the REST API.

You might want to request it in the problem tracking API.

At Google to decide who deserves verification. Apparently, this depends on the number of people who have added you to their circles.
