Visual Basic 6: how to make an application visible on the taskbar?

I set the ShowInTaskBar property to true, but my application does not appear in the taskbar. The form minimizes, enlarges and closes the buttons. When I click the Minimize button, the form is reduced to a small form in the lower left corner of the screen, but it does not appear on the taskbar.

Is your form modal?

MyForm.Show vbModal 

If so, you need to do something like this so that it appears in the taskbar.
