Aptana "The selection cannot be launched, and there are no new launches."

Each time I click the Run as button, I get the following message.

"The choice cannot be launched, and there have been no recent launches."

If I select the down arrow next to the Run From button and select the New Settings option (this is the setting I configured to run using localhost) ... it works. But why is the "Run" button not installed by default?

Or better yet, how can I make sure the Run As button is by default?

** UPDATE **

I solved the problem. see my answer below.

Go to settings in Run / Debug> Launching

There is a section called "Launch Operation", and I had to choose:

Run the selected resource or active editor. If the launch does not start: Run the previously launched application.

I have a solution for this:

If you imported the project from the local file system, go to the appropriate folder → right-click on it → Promote project → Choose project type (Mine was Ruby-Primary) → Done.

Must work. Hurrah!

If you are new to Aptana and have launched a new file, say the .py file, MAKE SURE you are also starting a project. You probably have not started the project yet, so Aptana does not know what to do with the file you are using. If you create a project and make it a Python project, NOW Aptana knows what to do with your new file and will run it correctly.
