Failed to create Java Virtual Machine

Question

I downloaded and installed aptana 3.0.6.

But when I try to run it, it comes with a message

"Failed to create Java virtual machine."

Eclipse works without problems. So, the Java virtual machine is working fine. I am running 64 bit Windows 7.

It started with me after I changed the performance of Aptana. My main problem was that I put Xmx1024m (instead of od default 512 M) in aptanastudio3.ini, but when I dropped it on Xmx768m everything started to work.

had the same problem with aptana 3.6.0 in windows 10 started to happen after updating windows. Java update didn't help

I had the same problem with Aptana 3.6.0 on 64-bit Home Premium for Windows 7. I finished installing the 32-bit JRE and everything went right.
