This article mentions that Reactive Extensions for 3.5 contains a backup version of System.Threading.dll, but when downloading the latest version from Rx, the site of this assembly is nowhere to be seen, and the Parallel class does not seem to be present in any of the included assemblies. Does anyone know what happened to this build?
UPDATE I found a working download link for an earlier version of Rx, which still contains a backup build of System.Threading here .

The latest version requires a dependency on .NET 4.0 or 4.5, so there is no need for a back-port TPL runtime.
