Missing button to view application profile page

I just duplicated and retrained the application that I used many times before. This is a simple “Like” element with a name / email form to fill out.

I copied the details for the configuration of the application in the developer's application in the same way as every time. The last time I installed the identical application was about 3 weeks ago.

I miss the “view application profile page” in any application that I tried to create today, which means that I cannot add it as a user tab to my pages to check it or even get to it.

Does anyone know why this could be so?

As you can see from this post on the facebook developers blog , facebook has started deleting the application profile page. This change will be completed on February 1, 2012. The blog has information on how to handle these changes.

Try the following link

https://www.facebook.com/dialog/pagetab?app_id=[APP-ID]&redirect_uri=[http://www.yourdomain]

before use replace:

  • [APP-ID] with your application identifier
  • [http://www.yourdomain] with Facebook canvas or tab url (in your domain, not facebook.com)
