Free C / C ++ based library based on zip / zip64?

After false starts with poco zip and minizip (both have problems, minizip cannot extract files larger than 2gb, and poco zip damages any zip file that exceeds 2 gigabytes that it compresses) I was wondering if there was anything else left?

So, any suggestions for a C ++ archive library that zip and zip64 can handle?

7-zip handles both, as far as I could tell, by quickly looking at their source code. This is also an LGPL, which should allow it to be used in a closed source application.

It’s good that there is a lot of proven ZLIB: http://zlib.net/
