Does CoreData save data after updating the application?

Question

Does CoreData save user data after updating the application? Otherwise, I will need to write web services with db to save user data.

If you store your data in the application’s document directory, you don’t need to update your database or settings if you just update the application. If you uninstall the application from the device, the documents will also be deleted, in which case you will have to recreate your data.
