Starting next month, Google will charge for sites using more than 25,000 card impressions per day. I am looking for options to replace Google Maps with a free service.
All I need is satellite images of a relatively small area in the USA, so far I have learned about Open Layers, but I'm not sure that you can download and place air tiles from some where or if there is free service without a cover for displaying satellite tiles.
