Change the value of a specific attribute

I only need to return the value of the "name" attribute. If this attribute has a "default" value as the value, it should be changed to "New." Everything else should be a copy of the xml input. I tried using xsl but it does not work.

There are a number of issues with this code. The most important issue is that it removes the current node ( SORRegion element) and replaces it with an attribute only.

The solution must match the attribute that needs to be updated.
