RVM "not found" after successful use and after a few days

I installed RVM a few days ago, which worked great. A few days later (now, after several reboots, I think), as if it was not installed, the shell says rvm not found , although I can see all this in my ~/.rvm , and there is also a scripts folder.

I tried to restart the script installation on top of it, with no result (said that it had updated something, no difference). I tried the command to reload rvm in new shell sessions. I also looked at this Q & A , so as not to help.

What am I missing here?

(I'm on Ubuntu Natty)

I would suggest that your PATH not configured to include ~/.rvm or ~/.rvm/bin , check

 echo $PATH

turns it on. If not, you will have to add somthing like

  PATH=$PATH:~/.rvm/bin

to your ~ / .bashrc
