IPhone OS Discovery through User Agent

In my awstats (cpanel) log, the web service consumed by the iphone application shows various user agents, for example:

AppName/1.6 CFNetwork/485.13.9 Darwin/11.0.0 AppName/1.6 CFNetwork/548.0.3 Darwin/11.0.0 AppName/1.0 CFNetwork/485.13.9 Darwin/11.0.0 

Is there any way to figure this out? I'm more interested in finding devices (iPhone, iPad, etc.) and OS (iOS4, iOS5, etc.), is this possible from this user agent?

There is little information here. It turns out that this is in the format AppName / AppVerson, CFNetwork / iOSVersion (4xx / 5xx), Darwin / 11.0.0 (AppName / 1.6 CFNetwork / 485.13.9 Darwin / 11.0.0)
