Rails and Mailchimp - Welcome Letter

I need to send a welcome email whenever a user registers with our website.

I created a campaign in mailchimp for this.

I also hooked up the pearl of the hominids.

So, every time I add users to the group (welcome_email group), I want to resubmit the campaign for a new user. Should I recreate new trans campaigns for each email?

Can I use the same campaign and just send it to new users?

What is the best way to achieve this?

Mailchimp does not allow you to send a single campaign several times, so if you have sent a campaign, the only way to resend it is to copy it. In any case, this is the wrong solution for welcome messages.

Mailchimp has built-in welcome email support (it is called "final welcome email") and can be configured using the form settings for your list (see http://kb.mailchimp.com/article/how-do-i-customize -each-part-of-the-confirmation-process ).

If you subscribe to users through the API and don’t use the double option (I’m sure it is), the welcome email will not be sent by default. But you can force it to set the send_welcome = true parameter in the subscription method (see http://apidocs.mailchimp.com/api/rtfm/listsubscribe.func.php ).

So, you need to set up a pretty welcome email and update your code to use the send_welcome flag, and you are ready to go, there is no need for campaigns.

It’s easy to set up a welcome email for your users and automatically send them an email.

1) You must have a paid account in MailChimp

2) The official postal web page has detailed information on how to create an answering machine for greeting letters. Check the link for Automatically send welcome emails whenever a user logs in to a website

I'm sure Mailchimp will send a confirmation email asking users to unsubscribe. Can you customize them just like your welcome message?
