Can anyone recommend the forex trading API?

I'm interested in experimenting a bit with currency trading using PHP, JavaScript and the new HTML 5 canvas object. I looked around a bit, but wondered about the JavaScript API that I can use to trade foreign exchange.

Can anyone recommend anything?
