What version of MYSQL supports stored procedures?

Quick question. What version of MYSQL supports stored procedures?

Is this any Mysql 5.0? Or is there an exact version when they implemented support like - 5.0.1.2 ...?

thanks

According to http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/news-5-0-0.html , "basic support" for stored procedures was present in 5.0.0.

But you still should not use a release so old, you should use the latest version of this major version.

Version 5.0.0 and higher supports stored procedures. See more details. You can navigate frequently asked questions for each version specified in the documentation.

If you checked Product History on Wikipedia , you will see that stored procedures were introduced in Version 5.0 and can be used in all higher versions.

Accept the "basic support" in MySQL 5.0. But I can say that there may be problems with earlier versions (alpfa, beta). Better to know the version of the first release or the version of the candidate.
