Running ASP Classic on IIS 7.5

I need to work a bit on the old ASP Classic site, so I try to host it on my IIS, but when I try to load the page, I get:

An error occurred on the server while processing the URL. Contact your system administrator.

If you are a system administrator, click here to learn about this error.

When I click on the link, it will take me to the Microsoft website and tell you about launching ASP Classic on IIS 7, but none of the pages will help, and nothing was found on Google, it will make it work. I have all the elements included and included in Windows OS - IIS - WWW - application functions.

This bothered me earlier today, and it turned out that an error had occurred in my script.

This assumes that you have installed the ASP / ISAPI extensions through the Add / Remove Windows Components control panel.

By default, errors are not sent to the browser. To allow sending errors to the browser, go to the site in IIS Manager. Double-click the ASP icon and expand "Debug Properties." Set "Send errors to browser" to True .

I had the same problem and it turned out that you need to configure the application pool on classic .net for it to work.
