Can I embed Arial Narrow in a webpage for free using @ font-face?

Question

I want to add Arial Narrow to the website using font-face , since Im not sure how widespread it is.

I would like to know if I need to buy it in an online store, or can I do it for free?

I believe that Arial Narrow is a variant of Arial that belongs to Monotype Imaging .

According to the Wikipedia license description, you cannot distribute a font, and I believe that using it in font-face is considered a distribution, so you cannot use it with font-face for free.

However, it looks like Monotype offers font-face licensing for Arial Narrow. Cm:

According to this web page , Arial Narrow is installed on 87.08% of all Windows machines and 91.01% of all Mac computers.

Usage example:
