Big Android projects - how to speed up the build process?

I have a relatively large Android project containing about 200-250 resources, mainly .xml layouts. This means that when I change and save one of them, the next recovery process takes about 1 minute, which is annoying for a long time in the long run.

Could you advise any advice that will help in this matter?

Yes, update to the latest Android Eclipse plugin (ADT version 12), then go:

Window> Settings> Android> Build> TICK 'Skip packaging and removal before exporting ...'

Preferences

This will stop building while you export it, just like it will save time editing XML files in a large project.

Use ADT 12. Go to Settings-> Android-> Build and check "Skip packing and uninstalling before export or launch." Resources will not be compiled when saved, only when the project starts.
