Forward slash to Wordpress URL

I am moving my site from Drupal to Wordpress.

In Drupal, I can easily specify a URL alias, and this alias can be anything. For example: www.example.com/abc/xyz/hello.html

But in Wordpress, it seems that I cannot do this with WP out of the box.

Any hint on how to do the same with Wordpress? I need to keep URL consistency.

thanks

I just recognized this https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-permalinks/ plugin and used it to add characters, such as slashes and periods, to the website URLs. I have moved to WordPress while it works. Hope this helps!

You might be interested in settings -> Permalink, but I think you want more.

Take a look at the feature list for the redirect plugin . This allows you to set up redirects to other pages or go through redirects. If this is not what you are looking for, I think there are a few more plugins that can accomplish what you want. Hope this helps!

You can change the default URLs in Settings → Permanent Links. You should also be able to change the permalink when adding or editing a post. There are also plugins for permalinks (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/advanced-permalinks/)
