Padding Left quirk in Firefox

Please check the link above in FIREFOX and help me with this problem. It works very well in Chrome. The bookmark on the left does not work, although it has a higher priority.

It works if you do not use the length % :

I do not know why it does not work with % ..

This is similar to question # 1446832 , Firefox doesn't seem to work too well with interest paddings.

Total padding: 1% contrary to the specific left padding padding-left: 40px . In jsfiddle.net I fixed it by replacing the latter with padding: 0 0 0 40px .

Instead, you can use text-indent: 40px . This works in Firefox.
